Barrett Wilson is a Los Angeles-based guitarist, sideman, and artist with roots in the dusty desert valley of Las Cruces, New Mexico. He kicked off his career backing Prince protégé Andy Allo and has since played with acts like Grace and Moji, Morello, Emma Sameth, and comedian Lia Richardson. You’ll find him regularly performing jazz guitar at Disneyland’s California Adventure and playing solo acoustic sets at the Grand Californian Hotel. In the studio, Barrett’s recorded with the likes of Martin Wave (award winning producer and composer), Abby Lyons (youtube sensation) and Jon Gilbert (Producer, Flipturn), and recently dropped his debut solo album Intermixture—an eclectic, singer/songwriter project co-produced by John Would (Fiona Apple) and mixed by Pete Min (Colorfield Records). One of the singles landed in the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition. Barrett also teaches guitar with Fender Play and Guitar Tricks, and brings a mix of dry humor, team spirit, and deep musicality to everything he does. Whether he’s arranging horns, tracking guitars, or belting falsetto runs in his car, music isn’t just what he does—it’s how he breathes.
